I'm a software engineer working at Rohallion. I get to work with a variety of clients and there's always something new to learn.
Learning
I'm studying for my Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C03) exam. It's kicking my butt but I'm enjoying the challenge. AWS is huge and I'm constantly coming across new stuff. I'm hoping to get this certification done soon so fingers crossed.
Personal Projects
I'm working on a personal "new tab" project for myself. I think default tab pages in browsers are pretty mundane and I'd like my own to pull in data from my home server(s) from my home network. I was somewhat inspired by Stephen Wolfram's homepage. It made me realise I could likely benefit from a new tab page for myself that is bespoke for me. So why not make one?
Games
I'm playing through Assassin's Creed Odyssey at the moment and I'm enjoying it more than I thought. I started the game a few years ago (2019) but it didn't catch my interest at the time. The game really is an odyssey because it's a huge open world and I'm about 50 hours in which is quite long for a single-player game.
TV Shows I'm Watching
My partner and I are currently three seasons into Lost. Why did it take me so long to watch it? I just hope the ending is not as disappointing as the ending of Game of Thrones.
